I remember a young fourteen year old boy in our home town
His family was very poor, lived in a four room shack
He said someday I will be rich
Then mom, and dad can have a big house, and food
Others laughed at him, they said "Never"
He don't have what it takes
It was true the odds were against that young boy
He never had a dollar to his name
His clothes were ragged
He wasn't very smart in school
However he had "Dreams"
That young boy was me
That day I said to myself
I may die but my "Dreams" never will
And I "Never" gave up
I achieved my dream
Through hard work, with God's blessings
Don't underestimate the power of "Dreams"
"Death" will come
Disappointments will happen
"Dreams" are real
Listen to your "Dreams"
Never say "Never" I didn't
I don't like the word "Never"
It's the most discouraging word I know
It has killed more "Dreams" then anything
When a person gives in to the word "Never"
Something inside them dies
Don't let naysayers rob you of your "Dreams"
The word "Never" has killed many "Dreams"
And destroyed the ambitions of millions of poor folks
It's a word used by poor folks who have given up on life
Phil 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
My Cup Runneth Over, My Cross is Light
