The lights are twinkling gaily
On the tree this Christmas night
Through the house the candles sparkle
A warm fireplace amber bright



Street lights illuminate snowflakes
Moonbeams dance on the snow
The world boasts a lustrous beauty
Like a gift wrapped with a bow



Incandescent flames are flickering
Our entire family safe at home
The winter moon a silvery beacon
As the star o'er the manger shone



Heaven glows with ardent beauty
We shall bathe in His glorious light
The brightness of His love will shine
Just the way it beamed that night



As we celebrate this season
Exchanging tokens of our love
The aura shining 'round our blessings
Radiates from God above
