I've never been a world traveler
Yet many hard roads I've trod
When my way is rough and weary
I find comfort in the house of God



Visiting friends and family is priceless
And joining in their gleeful play
But my heart and soul will forever be
Traveling in the Heavenly way



Striving always to be in God's image
A home in Heaven is my ultimate goal
On Judgment Day, I hope to be
Welcomed into His Heavenly fold



Till then, I'll just keep trudging on
Through life's ever shifting sand
Looking forward to that final journey
And God's house in the Promised Land
