Ada Bug, Ada Bug, come out and play
Let's enjoy the sun on this beautiful day

Bees are buzzing and birds are singing
Kids at the playground laughing and swinging

Flowers are blooming and fish are biting
The wind is ripe for gliders and kiting

Haven't seen you for such a long time
I have to say, though, you're looking mighty fine

Let's take off our shoes and go barefoot
Spending time with you is always a hoot

The weather's just right for getting a tan
We'll stay at the creek just as long as we can

Don't forget to bring your hook and pole
Sure is nice down at the fishing hole

I brought along a picnic lunch
We'll sit and talk and fish and munch

Ada Bug, Ada Bug, I just have to say
It sure was nice seeing you today

I'm so lucky to have you for a friend
Hope you'll come out tomorrow and play again
