Beautiful Sadie Marie
A girl of sweet mystery
A head full of curls
That dance when she twirls
A wonderful sight to see



This lady was so very shy
Till she met a wonderful guy
Now her heart sings with joy
Since she married that boy
And made all the other girls sigh



They talked of the future and things
As they flew on gossamer wings
The boys and the girls
With freckles and curls
And the happiness that true love brings



Time passed and years seemed to flee
As God has meant it to me
Now they lie side by side
And his love still abides
