Mornin' Coffee

I wouldn't say I'm hooked on coffee But I just love drinkin' that stuff I make a couple of pots each day And I can't seem to get enough My hubby and my youngins know They better not get in my way Until I hear that coffee a perkin' There's a gonna be heck to pay I'm usually fun and easygoin' Keep myself lookin' neat and clean But when I get up in the mornin' I just gotta have some caffeine I love the smell of coffee beans You may think that's an affliction But I don't give a flyin' fig If caffeine's my addiction Keep your milk and fruit juice And fill up on soda pops I'll just stick to my preference 'Cause drinkin' coffee rocks I know that I must look a sight My bathrobe's hangin' off me 'Cause I ain't worth a dang until I've had my mornin' coffee Kathleen McCoy Eldridge© May 31, 2006 All Rights Reserved For Cheryl A Bushel And A Peck Sequenced by Eugene Hayek Smick & Smodoo's World Artist Unknown To Me
