Dear Jesus,

I am excited that you really took the time to write me again. As busy as you must be, I'm a bit surprised that you bothered. I like it when you write me and I like hearing what you have to say.

Jesus, you said in your last letter that the things that bother me the most are the things that you could help me with the most. Well, I do have something that is bothering me and I'd like to share it with you. I feel that I can tell you and trust you to keep it a secret.

Jesus, I have some real strange thoughts and sometimes they even frighten me. I have even thought of killing myself. Pretty bad huh? Jesus, often I feel that if I invited you to my house I would lose all of my friends and what little fun I have would be gone. Isn't there some way to have you over and not have my friends criticize me for being a.... "Christian"? It is hard to choose what to do. I want my life to be just right, however, I also want to keep my friends and not change every thing I'm doing. I told you I have some real strange thoughts. Why do I tell you all this stuff. I'm sorry and I really will try to watch what I say to you and try to say the things you probably want to hear.

Anyway Jesus, I guess there it is in a nutshell. I really do get quite confused and mixed up in my mind. If you can help me, please do.

From One of Your Youth

Dear Loved Youth,

Please know that I am never too busy to listen and help you. I too am excited that you write me. You may have complete confidence that our conversations are always just between you and me.

You are not alone in your thoughts, I know them each time you have one. Many other young people have the same thoughts. But, I can help. Please remember this, you do not have to change one thing to invite me over. I love you and want to see you just the way you are. Don't worry about your friends, your strange thoughts or all of life's choices. Keep in mind that the only choice I desire you to make is the one to invite me to your place. Believe it or not, I will be there the moment you invite me.

I will be your lifelong friend and I will send real friends your way that you can 'pal' around with. I will help clear up all the mixed-up feelings and thoughts in your mind. We will work on it together and it will shortly go away as we continue to talk every day. There are always things that come up to discourage and frustrate you, but that is what my friendship is all about .....helping you with them..........every time!

I look forward to your writing me. You asked me to help..............AND I WILL!
