Dear Jesus,
Just thought I would write you again and tell you 'thanks' for writing me back. It's like talking to you face to face. Sometimes I'm not sure how I should talk to you and if you really hear me. To be honest with you Jesus, sometimes I wonder if you're really real. Please don't think bad of me but I'm being very honest. I've heard about you all my life and my parents talk to me about you a lot.
Oh well, I won't bother you with things, you know, about how I feel. Often I just wish I could see you face to face. If I could then there would be no doubt about my believing in you. Please don't get me wrong. I do believe in you; however, these thoughts actually do come into my mind. Jesus, is there some way to be really sure?
By the way, I have my room looking better and I'm not doing some of the things that made me feel guilty. My friends have changed and I really would like to invite you over. Can you come? Anyway, you're welcome anytime.
I better close for now and not bother you any more.
From One of Your Youth
Dear Loved Youth,
Thank you for writing me and please know that I will always take the time to read your letters. In fact I look forward to receiving them. Your concern about how to talk to me should not worry you at all. You may (and I prefer) talk to me as a close friend and in your own words. There is no certain way to talk to me except from your heart.
Am I real? Oh Yes! The more you continue to talk to me the more real I will become to you. You will learn more about me than you ever imagined. Your parents talk to you about me because they know me personally and I know them. I urge you to never stop talking to me and I'll make myself known to you.
You are never a bother to me by talking about yourself and the way you feel. You see, I know you already and I love you very much.
I'm happy with the way you have taken control of some things, such as your friends and being careful about the places you frequent. Your life is important to me and I care for you very much. You see, there is nothing you can do to make yourself better for me. I will accept you just the way you are. You could do nothing that would make me turn you away. This goes for you and all your friends. And about your room, it's good to keep it organized the best that you can, however your place is just all right with me. When would you like me to visit you?
Write back as often as you like and I will always listen and respond.
From Jesus Who Loves You
P.S. By the way, the things that bother you the most are the things I can help you with the most.
Give me a chance.
