This is Cali again

I am only writing to you to say thank you
I know that when I was physically spent
You had me placed on the vent.
That way my poor tired body could heal 
And I could be put on an even keel
Please know my dear Lord how grateful I am
To be with my family and lover
And for allowing me to recover
I know how busy you are Please point the way,
 that I might do your will day by day
 Let me be brave to face the ordeal
That is yet to come.
I know your many graces will help me one by one
I am so touched by those lovely folks
you had praying for me.
For their petitions 
continue to strengthen my resolve, you see
