Thank God for roadside flowers
That bloom from time to time
Striving so hard to be noticed
As if it had a mine
Separated from the rest of the flowers
In a class of their very own
They really are a perfect sigh
As they stand there all alone
No one seems to notice them
They don't fit with certain styles
And don't fit in with the fancy plants
That are planted in rich soil...
If you would stop to take a look
You are sure to see
A beauty unique and very rare
A flower in its glee
It's not an ugly duckling
Because it stands alone
It's a reminder of God's beauty
For He put them there on His own
