Sometimes I seek a quiet place 
For this is where  I find 
Renewal in God's saving Grace 
And with it peace of mind 


My quiet place can be anywhere 
As long as I am alone 
Except for Jesus. He is always there 
He claims me as His own 


While I am in my quiet place 
I say a simple prayer 
I ask the Lord to guide me 
And keep me in His care 


Everyone needs a quiet place 
Every now and again 
To fellowship with He Who died 
To take away sin's stain
